My copy of Tribunal arrived today, and I spent perhaps too many hours tonight playing it (I've got that 60Hz brain-buzz going, but in a gooood way). It's the expansion pack for Morrowind, but truth be told, I didn't spend any time at all exploring the new content. Instead, I managed to get back on track with my exploration of all of the old content.

How does that work, you ask? Simple -- Tribunal includes a much needed addition to the journal system that sorts your journal notes by quest (and allows you to filter out completed quests). The journal system still needs some work (it can still be difficult to figure out where you have to return to to complete a quest), but it's finally actually usable. Once I saw the filtered list of uncompleted quests, I immediately realized there were three different things I had nearly finished. Which got my cash flow moving again. Which put me in range of finishing some other quests. And so on. And it was grrrreat.

It also doesn't hurt that my character is finally starting to get powerful enough (barely) to not get completely wiped out in fights.  11:21:58 PM  (comments []
